Do you provide home visits?

Yes. I provide in-home breastfeeding and lactation support across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area.

Do you speak Mandarin Chinese?

Yes. Services are available in English and Mandarin Chinese.

Can you help with low milk supply?

Yes. We assess milk transfer, pumping routine, feeding frequency, supplementation and maternal factors.

Can insurance cover IBCLC services?

Some extended health plans may cover IBCLC services. Please check directly with your insurance provider.

Do you provide receipts?

Receipts can be provided when applicable.

How long is a consultation?

Consultation length depends on the situation and will be discussed before booking.

Can you help after C-section?

Yes. C-section recovery, pain, delayed lactogenesis and positioning can all affect feeding.

Can you help with pumping?

Yes. I support flange sizing, pump settings, schedule planning and milk removal routines.

Can you help with plugged ducts?

Yes. I provide gentle support and guidance, while recommending medical care for red-flag symptoms.

Can you help with weaning?

Yes. I support gradual, comfort-focused weaning and milk reduction.

Do you support mixed feeding?

Yes. I help create supplementation plans while protecting breastfeeding goals when possible.

Can you assess latch?

Yes. Latch, positioning and milk transfer are key parts of the assessment.

Can you help with nipple pain?

Yes. We look at latch, positioning, pump fit, oral function and breast/nipple condition.

Can you help if baby prefers bottle?

Yes. We can work on breastfeeding skills, pacing, flow preference and realistic transition plans.

Do you work with newborns?

Yes. Newborn feeding concerns are a common reason families book IBCLC support.

Do you offer virtual consultations?

Virtual support may be available depending on the concern.

What should I prepare before a visit?

Baby’s age, recent weight, diaper count, feeding schedule, pumping output, pump model and supplementation details.

Can you diagnose mastitis?

No. Diagnosis and medication decisions are made by a medical provider. I can support lactation management and advise when to seek medical care.

Can you assess tongue tie?

IBCLCs can assess feeding function and suggest medical evaluation when needed. Diagnosis and treatment decisions are made by qualified healthcare providers.

Do you support prenatal education?

Yes. Prenatal breastfeeding preparation can help families feel more confident before birth.
